# Welcome to Glimpse

### What is Glimpse?

Glimpse is a forecasting market. It allows participants to trade on future outcomes, generating live forecasts that reflect market expectations.

At launch, Glimpse focuses on Bitcoin, with plans to expand into additional assets and markets over time. Rather than relying on individual opinions, Glimpse helps participants understand what the market collectively believes is likely to happen next.

### Why does Glimpse exist?

Markets generate vast amounts of information, but understanding what that information means can be difficult.

Analysts, news outlets, social media and research firms often provide different views of the future. Glimpse was built to provide a different kind of signal: a market-generated forecast based on participant conviction. By aggregating market activity into a live forecast, Glimpse helps participants understand how expectations are changing in real time.

### How does Glimpse work?

Participants buy and sell contracts based on future outcomes. Each trade contributes information to the market. As participants interact, their views are aggregated into a live probability forecast.

When expectations change, the forecast updates automatically. The result is a continuously evolving view of market expectations.

### What can you learn from Glimpse?

Rather than showing what one person believes, Glimpse shows what the market collectively believes. Our platform helps you understand:

* Which outcomes the market considers most likely
* How expectations change over time
* How new information affects market sentiment
* How confidence differs across potential outcomes

### What makes Glimpse different?

Most prediction markets focus on individual questions and isolated outcomes. Glimpse is designed to generate forecasts across a range of possible outcomes, helping participants understand probabilities rather than simple predictions.

The forecast is the product, and the market is how it is created.
