# Sign Up & Identity Verification

These steps help protect users, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

### Step 1: Create Your Account

Register using your email address and create a secure password.

After registration, Glimpse will send a verification email to the address you provided.

### Step 2: Verify Your Email Address

Open the verification email and click the verification link.

If you do not see the email:

* Check your spam or junk folder.
* Wait a few minutes and try again.
* Request a new verification email if necessary.

Once your email has been verified, you can log in to your account and continue the onboarding process.

### Step 3: Complete Identity Verification (KYC)

Before you can access all platform features, you must complete identity verification through our verification provider.

The verification process consists of four steps:

1. Complete a short questionnaire.
2. Provide a government-issued identity document.
3. Complete a liveness check.
4. Provide address information.

Most verifications are completed within a few minutes, although some applications may require additional review.

As part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide:

* Full legal name
* Date of birth
* Residential address
* Country of residence
* Government-issued identification
* Proof of address, where required

The information collected helps prevent fraud, detect financial crime, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Glimpse collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.

Information provided during verification may be shared with trusted service providers that assist with identity verification, compliance, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements.

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to satisfy legal, regulatory, operational, and security obligations.

Before starting verification, you will be required to review and accept the Glimpse Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
