# Why Forecasting Matters

## Why Forecasting Matters

Every decision about the future involves uncertainty. Investors, businesses and individuals make decisions every day based on what they believe is likely to happen next.

Traditionally, those expectations come from analysts, research reports, news coverage or individual experts. While these sources can be valuable, they often provide different answers to the same question.

Glimpse takes a different approach.Instead of relying on a single opinion, Glimpse aggregates information from many participants and converts it into a live forecast.

As participants buy and sell contracts, they reveal their expectations about future outcomes. The resulting forecast reflects the collective view of the market rather than the perspective of any one person.

The goal is not to predict the future with certainty but to provide a clearer picture of what outcomes the market currently considers most likely.

At launch, Glimpse focuses on Bitcoin. Over time, forecasting markets may expand to additional assets, commodities, indices and financial markets.

The forecast is the product, and the market is how it is created.
