# How do I withdraw funds from Glimpse?

## How to Withdraw Funds

You can withdraw funds from your Glimpse wallet using either Bitcoin On-Chain or Bitcoin Lightning.

Before submitting a withdrawal, ensure that your destination wallet supports the withdrawal method you select.

### Step 1: Open Your Wallet

Navigate to the **Wallet** tab and select **Withdraw**.

### Step 2: Choose a Withdrawal Method

#### Bitcoin On-Chain

Bitcoin On-Chain withdrawals are sent directly over the Bitcoin network.

1. Select **On-Chain**
2. Enter your Bitcoin wallet address
3. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
4. Review the withdrawal details
5. Confirm your withdrawal

Once processed, your Bitcoin will be sent to the specified address.

#### Bitcoin Lightning

Lightning withdrawals are typically the fastest way to move funds.

1. Open your Lightning wallet
2. Create a Lightning invoice for the amount you wish to receive
3. Copy the invoice
4. In Glimpse, select **Lightning**
5. Paste the invoice into the withdrawal form
6. Review the details
7. Confirm the withdrawal

Lightning withdrawals are typically completed within seconds.

### Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To help protect your account and funds, Glimpse requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all withdrawals.

Before a withdrawal can be processed:

1. Open your authenticator app
2. Locate your current Glimpse verification code
3. Enter the 6-digit code in the **Verification (2FA)** field
4. Review your withdrawal details
5. Confirm the withdrawal

If the code is valid, your withdrawal will be processed.

#### Important

* 2FA codes refresh every 30 seconds
* Ensure the time on your device is set correctly
* Never share your 2FA codes with anyone
* If you lose access to your authenticator app, contact Glimpse Support before attempting a withdrawal

Two-Factor Authentication provides an additional layer of security and helps ensure that only authorised users can withdraw funds from an account.

* Double-check all wallet addresses and Lightning invoices
* Ensure your receiving wallet supports the selected withdrawal method
